Autumn 2021 - Autumn Love

I absolutely love Autumn, do you?

Our Autumn Box contained a lovely selection of items to ensure you have the essentials to ease you into the cooler months. When we can pop on our favorite boots, jumpers and go out, maybe start a little Christmas shopping with our friends or family. I love going to a Market Town and taking a look at the Independent shops, grabbing a bite to eat, and bringing home gifts and local produce, I live not too far from Market Harborough, Market Bosworth, Stamford and Leamington Spa so over the years have spent many times popping over on a crispy morning or chilly afternoon for a look around.

Firstly, I thought we might like to try this great Eye Cream from UpCircle perfect for when we are getting ready, it's made with coffee oil extracted from repurposed grounds and anti-inflammatory maple bark extract, reducing the appearance of any dark circles and fine lines. I have been trying for the past month or so and I love it, let me know if you have tried it and what you think about it too.

Also, we won't be opening the windows as much now, so I thought a lovely Chickidee 'Relax' Diffuser with its balancing blend of fresh cucumber and calming eucalyptus would be a nice introduction to any room, mine will be in my bedroom.

I just love the 'Tree of Love' Greetings Card by Louise Brainwood, that is this quarters tasteful greetings card. I do like to include a greetings card in all of our boxes, just in case there is anything in the box you would like to re-gift or need a last-minute card on the go.

If you have some time before you leave for an amble around a pretty market town or city for a change of view, take some time to pop some of the lovely London Grace Nail Polish on, it's quick-drying and we have selected Mabel or Lily as lovely easy-to-wear daytime colours. Pop on the Crossbody Bag and you'll have plenty of room in the three compartments, keeping your 'hands-free' for shopping. There's also room for your tasty Frank's Luxury Biscuits, great if you grab a coffee on the go and need a spot of fuel to keep you going, not forgetting our new Lena Bambini luxury Hand Warmers, made from completely breathable fibers they don't hold odour or cause you to sweat as synthetics do. Have a really lovely day, where ever you go.

All existing 'Friends of Remie' have received their #Autumn boxes, but I have created a few more...so if you think you would like one or you would like one for a friend, you can still subscribe or order a one-off box, just click the button below:

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog, much appreciated...Rx

FURTHER READING

This Autumn we loved this book and think it's worth a read: Where the Crawdads Sing: Delia Owens.

It's about: For years, rumors of the 'Marsh Girl' have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand. Then the time comes when she yearns to be touched and loved. When two young men from town become intrigued by her wild beauty, Kya opens herself to a new life - until the unthinkable happens.
